  • OAuth Information: If you sign in via Google or other OAuth providers, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from those services
  • Communications: Messages you send to our support team, feedback, or community interactions

When you access our Service, we automatically collect certain technical information:

  • Usage Data: Pages viewed, features accessed, time spent on platform, click patterns, search queries
  • Device Information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers

  • Market Data Providers: Public prediction market data from Kalshi and other platforms

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing message or by adjusting your email preferences in your account settings.

7.5 Cookie Control

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

7.6 Do Not Track

Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. We currently do not respond to DNT signals, as there is no industry consensus on how to interpret them.

7.7 State-Specific Rights (U.S.)

If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, or other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights including:

  • Right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information (we do not sell your information)

FORCASTR is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries where we operate.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 18 years of age (or under 21 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a child, we will promptly delete it. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at privacy@forcastr.com.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons.

When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy
  • Notify you via email or through a prominent notice on the Service
  • Provide you with an opportunity to review the changes before they take effect

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
